I recently worked with Timo and the WZ-IT team, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best tech decisions I have made for my business. Right from the start, Timo took the time to walk me through every step in a simple and calm way. No matter how many questions I had, he never rushed me. The results speak for themselves. With WZ-IT, we reduced our monthly expenses from $1,300 down to $250. This was a huge win for us.

It means your application data is hosted on servers physically located in the UAE (Dubai or Abu Dhabi), according to the scope we define for your setup (e.g., database, storage, backups, logs).
Yes — for the in-scope components we host (e.g. app + database + storage). We document what is included in-scope (and what isn't) before deployment.
We deploy servers in Dubai and/or Abu Dhabi depending on your preferred location and architecture (single-region or UAE dual-region).
Yes. You can pick Dubai-only, Abu Dhabi-only, or a dual-region UAE setup for in-country resilience.
By default, we can keep backups in the UAE. If you want additional backup locations (e.g., EU), we only do that if you explicitly request it and we define the scope clearly.
We offer UAE-only options for log retention and monitoring storage. If you use third-party SaaS monitoring, we'll clarify where that data is stored before enabling it.
Only if you request or enable them. We prefer self-hosted or UAE-hosted components where possible, and we list any external dependencies up front.
No. We provide hosting and managed operations. We do not provide legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. The UAE has a federal personal data protection law (PDPL), and many customers ask about it — but your legal compliance decisions are your responsibility.
Not always. Some UAE free zones have their own data protection regimes (e.g., DIFC and ADGM). If that matters for your organization, you should consult your legal counsel.
We can host the technology. However, regulatory suitability depends on your specific obligations and required certifications/contracts. We can share technical details of the hosting setup, but we don't provide regulatory qualification.
Dubai has a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Security Standard framework for government/semi-government usage. If you need that type of requirement, we can discuss architecture choices and hosting options, but certification/qualification depends on the exact scope and procurement route.
Typically: server provisioning & hardening, updates & patching, backups & restore testing, 24/7 monitoring & alerting, incident response & troubleshooting, performance tuning and capacity planning (as agreed).
Yes — SLA options depend on the app and architecture (single vs dual region). We define response times and maintenance windows in the offer.
Yes. We can design HA setups depending on the application (e.g., database replication, redundant app nodes, multi-zone or multi-site patterns if available).
Yes. Many customers run UAE-only for local workloads and EU for other operations. We can connect environments securely and document data flows at a technical level.
We support 50+ open source applications, including databases (PostgreSQL), collaboration (Nextcloud), DevOps (GitLab), chat (Rocket.Chat/Mattermost), IAM (Keycloak/Authentik), automation (n8n), conferencing (Jitsi), and more.
Yes. We can run Supabase (Postgres + services) on UAE infrastructure with managed operations. We'll tailor the setup to your usage (auth, storage, backups, scaling).
1) Requirements & target location (Dubai/Abu Dhabi), 2) Architecture proposal (single/dual region), 3) Deployment & secure configuration, 4) Go-live + monitoring, 5) Ongoing operations (patching, backup, incident handling).
Yes. We handle migrations case-by-case (downtime strategy, data sync, cutover plan), then operate the system fully managed in the UAE.
We use strong access controls (least privilege), MFA where possible, secure SSH/VPN practices, and auditing/logging for operational actions (exact tooling depends on your stack).
More questions? We are happy to help!
Note: We provide managed hosting and infrastructure services. We do not provide legal, tax, or regulatory advice. Customers are responsible for ensuring their use of our services complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Tell us about your hosting requirements and we'll set up your infrastructure on UAE servers.
Whether a specific IT challenge or just an idea – we look forward to the exchange. In a brief conversation, we'll evaluate together if and how your project fits with WZ-IT.
