We take care of the internals of your Droplets. That means: operating system updates (patch management), service monitoring (Nginx, Docker, Node.js), log rotation and security hardening. DigitalOcean provides power and CPU, we make sure the server runs.
Yes. Whether Basic Droplets for small websites, CPU-Optimized for CI/CD workers or Memory-Optimized for databases. We also advise on 'right-sizing': Often customers can save money by switching to the appropriate Droplet type.
No. DigitalOcean has an excellent Teams feature. You invite us as a team member (role: Member or Maintainer). For server access, we deposit our SSH keys. Your account password and billing information remain private.
Yes. We are familiar with DigitalOcean's Recovery Console. If a kernel update went wrong or the firewall locked you out, we can access via the console and repair the system.
A lot. DOKS only takes over the management of the Control Plane. We handle the Worker Nodes (upgrades, recycling), install base services (Ingress Controller, Cert-Manager, Monitoring) and help with debugging when pods are stuck in CrashLoopBackOff status.
Yes. The App Platform (PaaS) is great for simple deployment. We help with app.yaml configuration, set up custom domains and connect them to Managed Databases. When you 'outgrow' the App Platform, we seamlessly migrate you to Droplets or Kubernetes.
Yes. We integrate DOCR into your Kubernetes clusters or Docker Droplets so that images can be loaded securely and privately.
We rely on 'Defense in Depth'. Cloud Firewalls: We block ports at network level before the Droplet. VPC (Virtual Private Cloud): We isolate databases and backend services in a private network that is not publicly accessible. SSH Hardening: Key-only login, Fail2Ban and no root logins.
Yes. We configure Reserved IPs for high-availability setups. If a load balancer or Droplet fails, we can immediately switch the IP (manually or via script) to a standby system (IP failover).
Yes. We manage DigitalOcean Load Balancers, set up SSL termination (Let's Encrypt) and define health checks so users are always directed to healthy servers.
DigitalOcean Snapshots (1x per week) are often not enough as the sole backup. We set up daily, incremental backups. For this we often use Spaces (S3-compatible Object Storage) as a cheap offsite target.
Spaces is DO's Object Storage. We integrate Spaces as a backup target or configure it as a CDN for your static assets (images, videos) to offload the web server.
Yes. When your database grows, we add volumes or expand existing volumes during operation (live resize) and adjust the file system without data loss.
Yes. DigitalOcean is often 50% cheaper than AWS. The bandwidth costs (egress) are much more transparent at DO. We migrate your EC2 to Droplets, RDS to Managed Databases and S3 to Spaces.
We focus on standard images: Ubuntu LTS, Debian, Rocky Linux and AlmaLinux. We can also manage custom images if they are cleanly built.
Since DigitalOcean itself guarantees very high uptime (99.99% for Block Storage/Droplets), we can offer very good SLAs based on that. For critical SaaS platforms we offer 24/7 Incident Response.
Yes. We don't like clicking infrastructure together. We use the official DigitalOcean Terraform Provider to define Droplets, Firewalls and DOKS clusters as code. This makes your infrastructure documented and reproducible.
We charge a service fee for our operational work. You pay the cloud costs (consumption) directly to DigitalOcean. This gives you full transparency.
