Yes. OVH uses a special routing concept for failover IPs that often causes problems with Proxmox (bridge mode). We correctly configure the virtual MAC addresses in the OVH manager and set up the routing in the Debian/Ubuntu interfaces so your VMs and containers are stably accessible.
Absolutely. That's OVH's strength. We connect your servers in Limburg, Frankfurt, Gravelines or Roubaix via vRack to a private, protected network (VLAN). Ideal for database replication or backups, without traffic going over the public internet.
We handle complete IP management. We order IP blocks (RIPE), configure ARIN/RIPE entries and route IPs to the corresponding servers. In case of hardware failure, we switch the IP to a backup server within seconds.
Yes. We configure the OVH Load Balancer for your web clusters, set up SSL offloading and define health checks so traffic only goes to healthy servers.
Yes. Many companies use SoYouStart or Kimsufi (now 'Eco') for backups or test systems. Even though OVH support barely exists here – we manage these servers with the same care as the High-Grade line. We monitor hardware and respond immediately to disk errors.
Yes. We manage OVH Public Cloud instances (OpenStack-based) and classic VPS. We can also connect these via vRack with your dedicated servers (Hybrid Cloud) to get the best of both worlds.

Yes. OVH is one of the largest VMware hosters. We manage ESXi hosts, handle networking and patches. (Note: Due to the Broadcom licensing situation, we're currently actively migrating many customers from ESXi to Proxmox).
The standard protection is good, but often too coarse for specific attacks. We configure the OVH Network Firewall (Edge Firewall) specifically for your services to filter attacks before they reach the server ('Permanent Mitigation') without blocking legitimate users.
OVH often delivers servers with default settings. We harden the system immediately: SSH key-only login, setting up a local firewall (nftables/ufw) and restricting access to management interfaces (Proxmox GUI, port 8006) to VPN or known IPs.
When OVH detects abuse, they put the server in 'Rescue Mode' and cut the network. We analyze the cause (logs, malware scan), fix the problem, secure evidence and communicate with the OVH Abuse team to get the server unlocked as quickly as possible.
As a sole strategy: No. It's unencrypted and slow. We use the included backup storage as a secondary target, but primarily set up encrypted offsite backups (e.g. to Hetzner Storage Boxes or S3) to be provider-independent.
Since OVH doesn't offer 'Remote Hands' like other hosters, tickets must be opened. We handle that. We diagnose the error, create precise tickets with logs (so support doesn't argue) and track the replacement. Then we handle the restore.
No, that would be insecure. You add us as a Technical Contact in the OVH Manager. This way we have access to server management and tickets, but cannot cancel contracts or place orders.
Yes. OVH is often 70-80% cheaper than AWS for bandwidth-intensive applications. We plan the migration, move the data (e.g. via rclone) and rebuild the infrastructure on OVH Dedicated Servers.
All standard OVH templates: Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux. We also support custom ISO installations via IPMI/KVM if you need a custom OS or Proxmox setup not available in the template manager.
Since OVH support is often slow on weekends, our 24/7 SLA is particularly valuable for OVH customers. We can't solder hardware defects ourselves, but we can solve software problems, restore backups to replacement servers or route failover IPs to bring services back online.
