Build and operations run remotely - and not as a fallback
Infrastructure is operated through remote access anyway, even when the provider sits two streets away. We thought that through to the end instead of selling a presence nobody needs during normal operations.
Platform from Germany
Architecture, build and operations happen here. The systems run on our infrastructure in German data centres or on yours - where your users sit does not change that.
Hardware ships pre-configured
Where devices are needed, we configure them here and ship them to the site. For IoT gateways that means, among other things, set to the radio region of the destination country before they leave the building.
Operations without presence
Monitoring, updates and interventions run through secured remote access. During normal operations nobody has to be on site - not even when the site is on another continent.
Travel where it counts
When hardware has to be installed, a workshop held or an audit carried out, we come. Travel is billed by effort.

The evidenceWestern Australia, in production
AB-View is our remote access platform for the distributed water treatment plants of ABCO Water Systems: HMI access in the browser, central plant management, secure customer accounts. Built by us, operated by us - for plants that partly sit in very remote regions.
That is exactly where the model becomes an advantage rather than a compromise: in remote regions, skilled staff on site are scarce and every journey is long. Browser access is then not the second-best route but the only one fast enough.

When we are the wrong partner
You need somebody there within the hour
For sites where someone regularly has to intervene physically at short notice, we are not the right partner. That calls for a local provider - sometimes alongside us, sometimes instead of us.
You expect a branch office in your country
We do not have one. If your procurement rules or internal policy require a local presence, we do not meet that.
The work consists mostly of on-site appointments
Then you are mainly paying for travel. Tell us in the first conversation and we will work it through together before it becomes a project.

Answers to the most important questions
Yes. Build and operations run remotely from Germany, regardless of where your systems or your users sit. Our projects reach as far as Australia - the water treatment plants of ABCO Water Systems in Western Australia run on a platform we built and operate.
Yes, when it is needed: to install and commission hardware, for workshops with your team, and for audits where we have to see plant or rooms ourselves. Travel is billed by effort and agreed beforehand.
We configure the devices here and ship them directly to the site. For radio technology that means, among other things, that gateways and sensors are already set to the radio region of the destination country before they leave the building. Import and customs are settled per project, because they differ from country to country.
By default on our infrastructure in German data centres. If your requirements call for a different location, we operate the systems on your infrastructure - location is a decision, not a technical limit.
Not for ongoing operations. Monitoring, updates and interventions run through secured remote access. What is needed on site is somebody who can plug and unplug a device if it comes to that - your existing staff are enough for that.
That is often the right split and no problem for us. We take architecture, platform and operations, the local partner provides the hands on site. What matters is settling the interface beforehand: who may do what, and who gets called when.
