Flexible expert time applies to planned work during regular service hours. Regular hours are Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00 for Essential and Mon–Fri 08:00–18:00 for Business, Production and Critical. Additional and incident work costs €120 net per hour in 6-minute increments within those hours and €240 net per started hour outside them at every level. The 24/7 P1 response commitment does not extend this billing window. Response time is not resolution time; availability and RTO/RPO are contracted separately where required.

Answers to the most important questions about server management
Managed Operations means that we operate an explicitly agreed part of your Linux infrastructure or application. Depending on the offer, scope ranges from monitoring-only to patching, backup management, and incident response. Responsibilities, response times, and technical boundaries are recorded in the service schedule.
Yes. We often take over historically grown systems ('brownfield'). We handle stabilizing the infrastructure beneath the application - whether it's Magento, Shopware, WordPress, Plone (Python/Zope), Typo3 or specific ERP/CRM systems (e.g. Odoo). We ensure the services (PHP-FPM, Apache/Nginx, MySQL/Postgres, Solr/Elasticsearch) run performantly and the server is secured, even if the software stack is older.
We work provider-agnostic. Our specialty is Hetzner (root servers, cloud, vSwitch), but we also manage systems at AWS, IONOS, OVH, Netcup, Contabo and on-premise infrastructures. What matters is not where your server is located, but that it's professionally managed.
First understand, then act: before takeover we assess the technical state and define scope, risks, and priorities. For unclear or historically grown environments, the standalone server audit with a detailed action report can be useful. Takeover planning covers access, monitoring, backup status, and maintenance windows.
Yes, cloud exit is a focus area. We assess the invoice, workload profile, managed services, traffic and operating requirements and compare them with a sized target architecture. See our migration page for the project-specific savings assessment.
We offer four service levels: Essential with a qualified response by the end of the next business day, Business with a maximum four service-hour P1 response, and Production or Critical with 24/7 P1 response within 60 or 30 minutes. Monitoring runs continuously in every tier. Service levels govern response, not an automatic uptime commitment. See our SLA page.
For regular operations we primarily support Debian, Ubuntu LTS, AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux. We take over end-of-life systems only after a risk assessment as a documented exception with compensating controls and a binding transition or migration plan.
No. We specialize in Linux and open-source infrastructure. For Windows environments, we're happy to recommend partners from our network. Hybrid setups (Linux backend + Windows clients) we can support on the Linux side.
No. Operations are organized through documented access, runbooks, escalation paths, and agreed coverage rules. The binding availability and response time depend on the selected service level; Critical is offered only after readiness and capacity approval.
Yes. We operate self-hosted Kubernetes platforms as well as existing EKS, AKS and GKE environments. The exact scope follows from the cluster, add-ons, workloads and service level. For smaller systems, we still deliberately recommend Docker Compose, Coolify or Podman. Explore Managed Kubernetes.
Yes. Managed application hosting includes daily backups with seven-day retention for a standard workload. For existing servers, we manage the agreed backup setup. Storage locations, retention, restore testing, immutable backups, and RTO/RPO targets are defined for the environment.
Our focus is on the infrastructure level (OS, database, web server, containers). For application problems, we analyze logs and resource bottlenecks. Deep code debugging is not part of the standard scope, but can be added as a development service.
Yes, Proxmox VE is one of our specialties. We manage single-node setups up to Ceph clusters with high availability. We also perform migrations from VMware to Proxmox. More on our Proxmox page.
Managed application hosting is calculated per workload, with selectable compute, additional applications, and storage. Existing Linux servers use progressive volume pricing within one coherent customer environment. Monitoring-only is priced separately per agreed environment. Production and Critical apply per customer environment plus further covered workloads or servers.
Yes. We work with several agencies that offer our server expertise to their clients. Communication then runs through your channels, we stay in the background. Ask us about partner models.

Absolutely. The server audit is our entry product. You receive a comprehensive report on security, backups and performance - with no obligation to take over. Many customers book managed services afterwards, but that's your decision.
