Why Open Source Monitoring
Zabbix is fully open source - with tangible commercial consequences.
No sensor or host licenses
Zabbix charges no license fees per host, sensor or metric (zabbix.com/features). Your infrastructure can grow without monitoring license costs growing with it - a structural difference to PRTG (billed per sensor) or Checkmk (billed per service).
No lock-in
Zabbix runs on established standard components such as Linux and PostgreSQL or MySQL. Configuration and history can be exported, which keeps a future change of operator technically possible.
Open license: AGPLv3
Since version 7.0 Zabbix is licensed under AGPLv3, previously GPLv2 (zabbix.com/license). The source code is openly available - security and compliance reviews are possible without an NDA.

No. We are not an official Zabbix partner. We have run Zabbix in production for years on our own HA cluster - you buy operations and responsibility, not badges.
Yes. We take existing Zabbix installations into managed operations or migrate them to our HA cluster - including cleaning up organically grown templates, triggers and escalation chains. Historical data can be carried over. We clarify the best approach in a free initial consultation.
The central monitoring platform runs in German data centers. A DPA is available; the data received by additional alert channels, integrations or administrators is documented for the specific environment.
Zabbix Cloud is the vendor's hosted instance: you get an operated Zabbix installation with automatic updates, but you still configure templates, triggers and escalation yourself - and your team responds to the alerts. With us you buy the outcome: we onboard, maintain triggers and dashboards - and from the “Monitoring + Response” tier we take on the alerts too. Plus the data resides in German data centers instead of the vendor cloud.
Linux and Windows servers, Proxmox clusters, container environments (Docker), databases, network devices via SNMP, as well as web applications and APIs via HTTP checks. Basically anything that can run a Zabbix agent or provides metrics via SNMP, IPMI or HTTP.
In four steps: in the initial consultation we clarify environment and alert channels. Then we roll out the Zabbix agents (or connect via SNMP/HTTP), create host groups and templates, and set up triggers with escalation chains. Finally you get access to your Zabbix views (with Grafana integration on request) and we test the entire alert chain once end to end. Typical duration: a few business days.
Yes. We offer Zabbix hosting in German data centres and can also maintain templates, triggers and escalation chains. Redundancy, data flows, subprocessors and availability targets are documented and agreed for the specific architecture.
