Nextcloud, Paperless-ngx, n8n and other applications ready to use at your organisation. WZ-IT provides the hardware, configures everything and handles monitoring, updates, backup and technical support.
WZ-IT App NodeFrom document management to internal automation: choose the applications you need. WZ-IT then checks which applications can sensibly share an App Node and where technical isolation is required.

WZ-IT provides the sized hardware, configures the base platform and agreed applications, and handles the defined technical operations.
The base configuration uses compact, appropriately sized hardware with 1 TB NVMe. The performance class is adjusted for multiple or more demanding applications.
Operating system, runtime, encryption, firewall, administration and required system services are preconfigured.
The agreed open-source applications are installed, initially configured and technically verified before handover.
The node can remain internal or be connected through VPN, existing identities and, where required, a controlled gateway.
WZ-IT monitors the agreed components, maintains the system and applications, and documents technical administration.
Backup target and retention are aligned with protection needs. Technical questions and incidents go directly to WZ-IT.
Project extensions
Not every application needs to be publicly accessible. Before deployment, we define which users and systems may connect and which outbound connections are actually required.
Applications remain accessible exclusively from existing local networks.
Employees and administrators connect through NetBird, WireGuard or an existing VPN.
Selected services can be exposed through a secured gateway with TLS and access controls.
The App Node can join branch sites, data centres and approved cloud services in a hybrid architecture.
Pricing and operating model
The base package combines hardware, one standard application and its technical lifecycle in a predictable managed subscription.

The configurator records applications, approximate sizing and the access model. WZ-IT reviews the selection, sizes the hardware and documents the agreed operating scope.

Hardware, applications, access and managed operations explained.
The App Node is a compact on-premises appliance provided by WZ-IT for selected open-source applications. Hardware, base platform, setup, hardening and the agreed ongoing operations are delivered as one managed product.
The base configuration starts at EUR 249 excluding VAT per month plus one-time provisioning and initial setup. It includes appropriately sized compact hardware with 1 TB NVMe, one standard application, technical operations and the Essential service level. The minimum term is six months; after that, the subscription can be cancelled monthly.
Suitable applications include Nextcloud, Paperless-ngx, BookStack, Wiki.js, n8n, Vaultwarden, OpenProject, Mattermost, Zammad, Twenty and Supabase. Before quoting, we verify resource requirements, licence terms and sensible technical isolation.
No. The App Node uses compact hardware for conventional open-source applications and internal services. The AI Cube Pro has hardware and a software platform designed for local AI models, RAG and concurrent inference.
No. It can run exclusively on the internal network. Where external access is required, we design it through a VPN or a controlled gateway without exposing the administration interface.
Yes. Scope, data volume, outage window and target version are assessed first. Larger migrations and required data cleansing are project extensions and are not automatically included in the standard subscription.
Because the hardware is part of the managed model, diagnosis, replacement and recovery are planned as part of operations. Specific response times, replacement procedures and recovery objectives are defined in the relevant agreement.
The deployed applications and platform components are documented. When changing provider, WZ-IT supplies the agreed data and configuration exports. Contract term, hardware return and other handover arrangements are defined in the agreement.
