Your cloud bill keeps rising, dependency on a US provider should shrink, but nobody knows what a move really means? We analyse your invoices and resources, make dependencies on managed services visible and design the target setup in European data centres or on your own hardware. You receive a decision paper with the cost picture, a migration path and a fixed-price proposal for the migration.
Companies worldwide trust WZ-IT
The following are trademarks of their respective owners: Amazon Web Services (Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates), Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Corporation), Google Cloud Platform (Google LLC). WZ-IT is an independent service provider and has no business, partnership, or contractual relationship with these companies. We offer independent migration, installation, hosting, and operations services.
Starting point
At the end you know what a move costs, what it saves, which risks it carries and in which order it works. The report is yours and remains usable without a follow-up order.
Your invoices or cost export broken down by service and compared with the sized target setup, including data transfer, licences and operations.
Which managed services have an equivalent, which need to be replaced or rebuilt, and what the target setup looks like with European providers or on your own hardware.
Order of the workloads, risks, test run, cutover and rollback path, plus the fixed-price proposal for the migration.
Neutral, with an honest limit: if a move does not pay off or staying with cost optimisation fits better, the recommendation says so. WZ-IT offers migration and operations; the decision stays with you.
Only want to know whether a move pays off? The free cloud cost analysis compares your bill with a European target architecture.
Read access, exports and a conversation with your IT team are enough for the assessment. Your cloud environment stays unchanged.
Invoices or cost export, resource list, architecture documents and known requirements for availability and data location.
Every service in use is classified: directly portable, replaceable with open-source software, or only replaceable by changing the application.
Size servers, databases, storage, network, backup and operations for European data centres or your own hardware and compare the costs.
You receive the report, migration path and fixed-price proposal and discuss the outcome with management and IT.
The assessment covers one cloud environment with its accounts, services and data. Very large environments or environments spread across several providers are scoped before you order.
Analyse invoices or the cost export by service, environment and cost driver such as data transfer, storage and licences.
Capture compute, databases, storage, network, identities, backups and integrations.
Classify managed services such as databases, queues, serverless functions or identity services one by one and name alternatives.
Target setup in European data centres, on your own hardware or hybrid, with sizing, backup and operating model.
Sequence, test run, data transfer, cutover, rollback path and the main risks per step.
Cost comparison, recommendation and fixed-price proposal for the migration.

Price
Scope and price of the assessment are fixed before you order. We only know the scope of the migration after the inventory, so you receive the fixed-price proposal for it together with the report.
Cloud exit assessment

Credited against the migration if you order it within 6 months on the same topic.
For one environment on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud before deciding on a move.
Outcome: Decision paper with the cost picture today and in the target setup, dependencies, target architecture, migration path and fixed-price proposal.
Cloud migration

Fixed-price proposal with the report
Move the environment along the migration path and hand it over to operations.

Outcome: Running target setup with acceptance, documented architecture and defined operations.
Remote is the default; on-site sessions are charged with travel costs. You pay consumption and licence costs directly to the respective provider. The report is yours and remains usable without a follow-up order.
All prices are net and exclude statutory VAT. The offers are addressed to businesses.
If the target setup holds up, we migrate the environment and, if you wish, keep operating it, on servers in your own account with the provider or on your hardware.

The cloud exit assessment costs from €1,490 excl. VAT for one cloud environment. It covers cost analysis, inventory, lock-in assessment, target architecture and migration path. You receive the fixed-price proposal for the migration with the report. The assessment price is credited if you order the migration within 6 months on the same topic.
The free cloud cost analysis answers whether a move pays off: it compares your current bill with a sized European target architecture. The cloud exit assessment also answers how the move succeeds: dependencies of every managed service, a target architecture that can include your own hardware, a migration path with risks and rollback, and a fixed-price proposal for the migration.
That depends on the number of workloads, the data volume and the managed services in use. Besides the migration project, there are costs for parallel operation during the transition and for data transfer out of the cloud. The EU Data Act has applied since 12 September 2025: from 12 January 2027, switching charges including data egress charges for switching providers are removed entirely; until then, providers may only charge the costs they incur (European Commission, Data Act). The assessment sets all items against the target setup.
For most companies it is risk management rather than a general requirement. For operators of critical infrastructure, UP KRITIS and the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) have published recommendations for preparing an exit strategy for cloud services (BSI, UP KRITIS, German). Whether your sector has its own requirements is a question for your compliance or legal advisers; the assessment provides the technical basis.
Not automatically. Multi-cloud spreads workloads, but it does not remove dependency if every environment relies on proprietary managed services. What matters is whether data and applications can be moved with reasonable changes. That is exactly what the assessment evaluates for every service in use.
For servers, object storage, databases and load balancers there are equivalent building blocks at European providers or as open-source software, for example S3-compatible object storage and managed or self-run PostgreSQL. Proprietary services such as DynamoDB, Lambda or Cosmos DB take more work and require changes to the application. The migration guides for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud show what that looks like per source.
That depends on the number of workloads, data volume, dependencies and the available maintenance windows. The migration path in the assessment sets the sequence; you receive the schedule with the fixed-price proposal for the migration.
No. We work with invoices, cost exports, read access and your documentation. Changes only happen in a separately ordered migration.
Yes. Managed Server with monitoring, updates, backups and agreed response starts at from €149.90 excl. VAT / server and month. The servers can stay in your own account with the provider, so you remain the data centre's contracting party.

“WZ-IT moved our studio infrastructure from decentralised individual devices to a central platform: every site is securely connected via VPN, new devices are onboarded automatically and an entire site is provisioned from a template, without manual steps on location. What impressed me most is the breadth and depth of their knowledge: Timo and Robin are not a typical IT provider who sets up a server and leaves. The two of them think their way into highly complex infrastructure and software topics, work through every requirement we put in front of them, and build networking, provisioning and operations so that everything fits together in the end. WZ-IT is an excellent partner for complex software, network and architecture projects.”
