Architecture and migration
Sizing, target environment, data transfer, cutover and recovery are resolved before production operations.

WZ-IT plans, installs and operates Odoo as managed hosting, in your cloud or on premises. Depending on the target design, we also provide migration, secure network and identity integration, monitoring, backups, updates, integrations and further development.
The following are trademarks of their respective owners: Odoo (Odoo S.A.). WZ-IT is an independent service provider and has no business, partnership, or contractual relationship with these companies. We offer independent migration, installation, hosting, and operations services.

Odoo is modular enterprise software for CRM, sales, e-commerce, inventory, manufacturing, accounting and HR. Available modules and capabilities depend on the Community or Enterprise edition, localisation and add-ons.
As an independent service provider, we support you in installing, configuring, and customizing this comprehensive business suite to your individual requirements. Leverage the benefits of an integrated solution and optimize your business processes with a platform that grows with your company.
We install, host and operate Odoo for your company - either on our secure, privacy-focused infrastructure in Germany or other locations, as well as on-premise in your own environment.
We provide 24/7 monitoring, backups and maintenance for your Odoo instance. Human response times and support coverage follow the selected service level. Note: we host Odoo Community Edition (LGPLv3) freely. Odoo Enterprise modules (e.g. Studio, Voice-over-IP, advanced accounting, helpdesk SLAs) are licensed under the proprietary Odoo Enterprise License and require a per-user subscription from Odoo SA - we support selection and coordination of the appropriate licence; the licence agreement is concluded with the respective vendor.
Manage leads, opportunities, and customer contacts with powerful CRM, automated campaigns, and detailed analytics.
Optimize the sales process with quotes, orders, revenue forecasts, email marketing, and POS integration.
Track inventory, automate reordering, and optimize your logistics processes with detailed reporting.
Invoicing, dunning, taxes and financial reporting depend on the edition, country localisation and functional configuration.
Employees, leave, working time and recruitment can be integrated; payroll and further HR capabilities depend on country and edition.
Create professional websites and online shops with full integration into your backend system for seamless customer management.
Plan and monitor manufacturing processes, manage bills of materials, and optimize your production workflows.
Organize projects, track progress, record times, and optimize resource planning with agile methods.
Customize Odoo through modules, adaptations, and custom development to match your business processes exactly.

Odoo is one of the most powerful frameworks for business software. We don't just click in Studio - we program real modules in Python and XML that hook into the core in an update-safe way.
We integrate Odoo into your landscape. We connect external webshops, PIM systems, or logistics providers via XML-RPC/JSON-RPC to synchronize orders and stock levels in real-time.
The key to Odoo is inheritance. We don't overwrite core files. We create modules that extend views and models (`_inherit`). This keeps your system updateable.
For special requirements in Point-of-Sale or Warehouse, we develop interactive components using the Odoo Web Library (OWL) framework - modern, reactive, and fast.
How we implement Odoo development in practice.
Shopify or Shopware orders must be transferred manually. Stock levels are never correct.
Development of a bidirectional connector. Orders flow to Odoo, tracking codes back to the shop. Stock levels are reconciled with every booking.
Standard invoices do not meet German requirements (ZUGFeRD) or industry standards (VDA labels in the automotive industry).
Programming pixel-perfect QWeb reports (PDF) that exactly match your CI specifications and legal requirements.
Your production has steps (e.g., curing times, scrap calculation) that standard MRP does not cover.
Extension of MRP modules with Python logic that automatically calculates scrap and schedules work orders based on machine capacity.
We do more than provide an application. WZ-IT designs the technical architecture, integrates network and identity, operates the agreed scope and develops integrations when the standard product is not enough.
Sizing, target environment, data transfer, cutover and recovery are resolved before production operations.
SSO, secure access, internal systems and existing security components are integrated appropriately.
Updates, backups, technical monitoring and response paths follow a transparent operational scope.
APIs, automation and custom extensions can be delivered beyond basic deployment.
The exact scope depends on the application, edition, infrastructure and criticality. Vendor licences and non-standard components are quoted separately.
A business application becomes a resilient part of the process landscape only when data flows, roles, communication paths and interfaces are clearly defined.
Employees, customers, partners and automated processes use defined roles and entry points.
TLS, firewall rules, reverse proxies or private network paths are designed around the platform's exposure.
Local accounts, SSO, directories, service accounts and emergency access are connected through clear roles.
Business features, workflows, roles and configuration are deployed reproducibly and kept up to date.
Business data, attachments, retention, export and consistent backups.
Email, documents, notifications and optional background services.
Controlled connections to CRM, ERP, directories, payment or third-party systems.
The diagram is a resilient target model. Its implementation depends on edition, data flows, load, availability objectives and existing infrastructure.
A clearly defined operating scope instead of an opaque hosting flat fee.
Compute, applications, storage and response are shown separately. You can see what ongoing operations include and which requirements need a technical assessment.
We also design custom Odoo architectures, integrations and migrations. Contact us for a technical assessment.
One managed standard Odoo application is included in the Starter workload. Every service level also includes flexible expert time for planned work during regular service hours. Select compute, additional applications, storage and the appropriate service level.
A workload is one compute instance with the applications agreed for it.
One standard app per workload is already included. Additional dedicated servers count as separate workloads.
€79.90 per started TB and month, including daily encrypted offsite backup with 7-day retention.
Briefly describe the current state and objective for Odoo. We assess infrastructure, integration, and ongoing operations.
Whether you run Odoo in-house or need to host confidentiality-professional data §203-ready - we build, operate and maintain Odoo on an encrypted on-site server. Data never leaves the building in cleartext.

“WZ-IT's advice on our Azure migration was technically sound and completely non-binding right from the intro call - we took away a great deal.”
Whether a specific IT challenge or just an idea - we look forward to the exchange. In a brief conversation, we'll evaluate together if and how your project fits with WZ-IT.
