Starting point

Which AI systems may see client data

Minutes, contracts and reports grow with every audit. The WPK distinguishes protected and unprotected AI systems.

  • Protected AI systems

Client data belongs only in systems without training and without third-party access, with a commitment under §50a WPO.

  • Prohibition of use under §323 HGB

Client secrets must not serve to improve third-party AI models.

  • Independent judgement

Auditors must verify AI results, the more significant for the outcome, the more thoroughly (§43 WPO).

  • Unstructured documents

Minutes, contracts and correspondence are reviewed by hand within a tight audit window.

Use cases

AI in the audit practice: minutes, notes, reports

The AI delivers drafts and sources. Review and approval stay with you.

Review minutes and contracts

Today

Supervisory board and shareholder minutes and key contracts are read in full.

With the AI platform

The AI lists resolutions, commitments and litigation with sources. The assessment stays with the audit team.

Compare notes and management report with the prior year

Today

Draft and prior-year version are read side by side.

With the AI platform

The AI lists new, changed and removed passages for review. Figure reconciliations stay in the audit software.

Draft report sections and management letters

Today

Findings are transferred into prior-year wording.

With the AI platform

An assistant words finding, risk and recommendation in the practice's style. Judgement and sign-off stay with the auditor.

What it looks like

The platform in your team's daily work

Open WebUI in the browser, with models operated in Germany by German providers. Stops from your work, plus web search and your own knowledge base.

Full walkthrough
  1. 01Review minutes

    Review minutes, find relevant resolutions

Upload supervisory board and shareholder meeting minutes. The AI lists resolutions on loans, litigation and commitments with sources.

    • PDF
    • Word
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint
  2. 02Practice knowledge

Questions to the audit manual, answers with sources

Store your own guidance, checklists and methodology in knowledge bases. Every answer cites its source so the team can verify it.

    • Sources
    • Reranking
    • Access per group
  3. 03Assistant

Draft a management letter from findings

Paste in findings and the assistant words them in the style of your practice templates. Assessment, weighting and sign-off stay with the auditor.

    • Assistants
    • Prompt library
    • Templates
  4. 04Web search

Look up current thresholds and standards

Thresholds, legislative changes and pronouncements change. Web search gives the current status with sources, and client data stays out.

    • Web search
    • Attach web page
    • Can be disabled per group
  5. 05Create a knowledge base

Your own documents as a knowledge base, called up with # in the chat

Create a knowledge base, upload files, sync whole folders or add web pages and text. In the chat, a # brings in the collection and the answer cites its source.

    • Collections
    • Folder sync
    • Access per group

§50a WPO

A contract chain in which every link is bound

§50a WPO requires a commitment in text form, including further parties. Our Section 203 supplementary agreement is also in place with the data centre and AI hosting; the WPK answers do not foresee separate contracts between the practice and them.

Reviews & projects

What clients say about working with us

From local AI integration to architecture, data sovereignty and ongoing operations.

WZ-IT moved our studio infrastructure from decentralised individual devices to a central platform: every site is securely connected via VPN, new devices are onboarded automatically and an entire site is provisioned from a template, without manual steps on location. What impressed me most is the breadth and depth of their knowledge: Timo and Robin are not a typical IT provider who sets up a server and leaves. The two of them think their way into highly complex infrastructure and software topics, work through every requirement we put in front of them, and build networking, provisioning and operations so that everything fits together in the end. WZ-IT is an excellent partner for complex software, network and architecture projects.
