Architecture and migration
Sizing, target environment, data transfer, cutover and recovery are resolved before production operations.
WZ-IT plans, installs and operates Appsmith as managed hosting, in your cloud or on premises. Depending on the target design, we also provide migration, secure network and identity integration, monitoring, backups, updates, integrations and further development.
The following are trademarks of their respective owners: Appsmith (Appsmith Inc.). WZ-IT is an independent service provider and has no business, partnership, or contractual relationship with these companies. We offer independent migration, installation, hosting, and operations services.
Appsmith is a self-hostable low-code development platform for internal tools, dashboards and admin panels. Running it in your environment provides control over data location, access and connected systems.
Pre-built widgets, API integrations and JavaScript logic support CRUD applications and business tools. Available capabilities and licensing depend on the Free, Business or Enterprise edition.
We install, host and operate Appsmith for your company - either on our secure, privacy-focused infrastructure in Germany or other locations, as well as on-premise in your own environment.
We provide 24/7 monitoring, backups and maintenance for your Appsmith instance. Human response times and support coverage follow the selected service level.
Create user interfaces by simply dragging and dropping pre-built widgets like tables, forms, charts, and buttons without writing code.
Connect to 15+ databases and APIs including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, REST APIs, and GraphQL for seamless data integration.
Extend your applications with custom JavaScript logic for complex business rules, data validation, and API calls.
Workflows with schedules, webhooks and events are edition-dependent. We assess the required scope and include the appropriate Appsmith licence in the architecture.
Git-based versioning is available; repository limits and advanced branch, environment and CI/CD capabilities depend on the selected Appsmith plan.
The free edition includes standard roles. Granular, custom roles and permissions currently require an Appsmith Business or Enterprise plan.
Google and GitHub sign-in plus advanced SAML, OIDC or directory integrations are available depending on the plan. We confirm the identity source and licence before implementation.
Docker-based operation on premises or in your cloud with a controllable data location, network access and update process.
Create custom widgets and reusable packages for specific requirements and extended functionalities.

Full-service installation with no hidden costs
Appsmith is the fastest way to build internal tools. The combination of visual UI creation and JavaScript logic allows us to deliver in days what otherwise takes weeks.
Appsmith lives from data. We write complex SQL queries, connect GraphQL endpoints, or bind S3 buckets directly to securely map CRUD operations.
Within the app, we write pure JavaScript logic. Complex validations, data transformations (Lodash/Moment.js), and conditional UI logic run directly in the browser.
When standard UI components aren't enough, we develop custom widgets as iframe or native React components that seamlessly communicate with the Appsmith store.
How we implement Appsmith development in practice.
Your microservice architecture has no user interface. Support staff must look into the database to resolve tickets.
A central Appsmith dashboard bundles read and write access to all services. Secure behind SSO (SAML/OIDC) with granular RBAC permissions.
Support agents must jump between CRM, shipping system, and payment provider.
An Appsmith app pulls data from Salesforce, DHL, and Stripe into one view. Actions like 'Refund' or 'Resend' are triggered directly via API call.
Excel lists are emailed around, leading to version chaos and inconsistent data.
A web form with strict JS validation and direct database connection replaces Excel. Bulk uploads are parsed and cleaned server-side.
We do more than provide an application. WZ-IT designs the technical architecture, integrates network and identity, operates the agreed scope and develops integrations when the standard product is not enough.
Sizing, target environment, data transfer, cutover and recovery are resolved before production operations.
SSO, secure access, internal systems and existing security components are integrated appropriately.
Updates, backups, technical monitoring and response paths follow a transparent operational scope.
APIs, automation and custom extensions can be delivered beyond basic deployment.
The exact scope depends on the application, edition, infrastructure and criticality. Vendor licences and non-standard components are quoted separately.
Development and automation platforms need controlled execution, secrets, persistent data and clearly bounded connections to source and target systems.
Teams, repositories, webhooks, schedules and business systems initiate defined processes.
TLS, firewall rules, reverse proxies or private network paths are designed around the platform's exposure.
Local accounts, SSO, directories, service accounts and emergency access are connected through clear roles.
Editor, API, build or workflow runtimes are deployed reproducibly and isolated appropriately.
Metadata, configuration, source state, packages or execution history.
Queues, runners, containers, resource limits and separated execution environments.
Service accounts, secrets and controlled network paths to internal and external systems.
The diagram is a resilient target model. Its implementation depends on edition, data flows, load, availability objectives and existing infrastructure.
A clearly defined operating scope instead of an opaque hosting flat fee.
Compute, applications, storage and response are shown separately. You can see what ongoing operations include and which requirements need a technical assessment.
We also design custom Appsmith architectures, integrations and migrations. Contact us for a technical assessment.
One managed standard Appsmith application is included in the Starter workload. Every service level also includes flexible expert time for planned work during regular service hours. Select compute, additional applications, storage and the appropriate service level.
A workload is one compute instance with the applications agreed for it.
One standard app per workload is already included. Additional dedicated servers count as separate workloads.
€79.90 per started TB and month, including daily encrypted offsite backup with 7-day retention.
Whether you run Appsmith in-house or need to host confidentiality-professional data §203-ready - we build, operate and maintain Appsmith on an encrypted on-site server. Data never leaves the building in cleartext.

“WZ-IT's advice on our Azure migration was technically sound and completely non-binding right from the intro call - we took away a great deal.”
Whether a specific IT challenge or just an idea - we look forward to the exchange. In a brief conversation, we'll evaluate together if and how your project fits with WZ-IT.
