Starting point

Which AI may see case data

Dictation, client mail and the other side's pleadings take time. §43e BRAO governs which service may help.

  • Only as far as necessary

§43e BRAO allows access to case data only as far as necessary and only with a commitment in text form.

  • Services abroad

For providers abroad, §43e(4) BRAO requires comparable secrecy protection. US providers are subject to the CLOUD Act.

  • Private accounts in daily work

Without an approved solution, drafts and client mail end up in private AI accounts.

  • Dictation, mail, opposing side

Dictation, client mail and long pleadings take hours that are missing for advice.

Use cases

AI in the law firm: pleadings, dictation, templates

The AI delivers drafts and sources. Review and approval stay with you.

Analyse the other side's pleadings

Today

Statements of defence are read in full, motions and arguments noted by hand.

With the AI platform

The AI lists motions, disputed facts and offers of evidence with page numbers. The firm still records deadlines.

From dictation to client letter

Today

Dictation goes to the office team and is typed up before a draft exists.

With the AI platform

Speech recognition transcribes and the AI shapes a letter in the firm's style. Approval stays with the lawyer.

Find firm templates and earlier pleadings

Today

Suitable templates and lines of argument sit in file shares and heads.

With the AI platform

The AI names suitable passages from the department's approved pleadings, with document and page.

What it looks like

The platform in your team's daily work

Open WebUI in the browser, with models operated in Germany by German providers. Stops from your work, plus web search and your own knowledge base.

Full walkthrough
  1. 01Analyse a pleading

The other side's pleading in key points

Upload the statement of defence as a PDF. The AI lists motions, arguments and deadlines with page numbers; review and deadline records stay with the firm.

    • PDF
    • Word
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint
  2. 02Dictation

Dictate instead of typing, letter as a draft

Dictate by microphone in the browser. Speech recognition transcribes and the AI turns it into a client letter in the firm's style.

    • Text recognition
    • Vision
    • Dictation
    • Read aloud
  3. 03Departments

Knowledge bases and permissions per department

Groups per department control who sees which knowledge base and assistant. Sign-in via SSO with multi-factor.

    • SSO
    • Groups
    • Usage analytics
  4. 04Web search

Look up the base rate and current law, with sources

For public information such as interest rates, legislative changes or court press releases, the firm switches on web search in the chat. Case data does not belong in search terms, and web search can be disabled per department.

    • Web search
    • Attach web page
    • Can be disabled per group
  5. 05Create a knowledge base

Your own documents as a knowledge base, called up with # in the chat

Create a knowledge base, upload files, sync whole folders or add web pages and text. In the chat, a # brings in the collection and the answer cites its source.

    • Collections
    • Folder sync
    • Access per group

§43e BRAO

A contract chain in which every link is bound

§43e BRAO requires a commitment in text form, including further parties. We conclude a Section 203 supplementary agreement for this, and the same agreement is in place with the data centre and AI hosting.

Reviews & projects

What clients say about working with us

From local AI integration to architecture, data sovereignty and ongoing operations.

WZ-IT moved our studio infrastructure from decentralised individual devices to a central platform: every site is securely connected via VPN, new devices are onboarded automatically and an entire site is provisioned from a template, without manual steps on location. What impressed me most is the breadth and depth of their knowledge: Timo and Robin are not a typical IT provider who sets up a server and leaves. The two of them think their way into highly complex infrastructure and software topics, work through every requirement we put in front of them, and build networking, provisioning and operations so that everything fits together in the end. WZ-IT is an excellent partner for complex software, network and architecture projects.
