MongoDB
MongoDB supports flexible document models but demands discipline around indexes, replication, write concerns, storage and backups. Uncontrolled growth or inefficient queries can otherwise become availability risks.
We install new MongoDB environments, take over existing databases and design replica sets, monitoring, upgrades and recovery. Schema, data quality and business queries are coordinated with the application team.
Internal operations with a clarified licence model
MongoDB Server is offered under the Server Side Public License. WZ-IT therefore operates MongoDB for your internal use on your infrastructure; different service or product models are reviewed technically and legally first.
Atlas or Enterprise licences, support agreements and infrastructure are not automatically included in WZ-IT operations and are itemised transparently.

As part of the project, a Proxmox-based virtualization environment was set up along with a virtual machine for our application systems. Additionally, a structured backup concept was implemented. A particular focus was on security: the setup of a VPN tunnel and the clean implementation of encryption and access concepts were professionally executed.
