Does WZ-IT manage existing Docker Compose stacks?

Yes, following an audit of hosts, Compose files, images, volumes, backups, network paths, and the current update process.

Is every containerised application automatically included?

The technical workload is viewed together. Functional maintenance or development of each application is only included when explicitly agreed.

Do you support Portainer, Coolify, or Dokploy?

Such interfaces can be included. Reproducible deployments, access boundaries, and a controlled update path remain the core requirements.

Who builds the Docker images?

That can remain with the client team, a software vendor, or WZ-IT. Ownership, registry, and approval are defined in the operating model.

How are databases backed up?

Depending on the database and recovery target, we combine application-consistent dumps, volume or storage backups, and agreed restore tests.

Is Kubernetes the better option?

Not automatically. Compose can be simpler and more economical for manageable workloads. Kubernetes is assessed for orchestration, scaling, or platform standards; operating and taking over existing clusters is covered under Managed Kubernetes.

Can servers remain with our provider?

Yes. Suitable Linux servers can remain in the existing provider account and connect to further sites when required.

How is a release rolled back?

Image versions, database migrations, health checks, and rollback steps are documented per application. Not every data migration is reversible.

What contract term and notice period apply?

The service can be cancelled monthly, with 30 days' notice to the end of the month.
